Luca Mancone Italian

Luca Mancone is an Italian contemporary artist whose practice explores themes of transformation, memory, consumption, and sustainability through unconventional materials and processes. Working with thermal paper receipts—objects designed to be temporary and quickly discarded—he reimagines everyday traces of human activity as layered visual compositions that evolve over time.

By extending the life of these fragile materials, Mancone transforms records of ordinary transactions into poetic archives of contemporary existence. His works preserve subtle traces of movement, desire, habit, and exchange, while allowing the material itself to remain active and responsive to time. Through this process, his practice reflects on permanence and disappearance, questioning value, consumption, and the overlooked narratives embedded within everyday life.

Born in Italy, Luca Mancone lives and works in Italy.
